One show we are really looking forward to this fall is Disney's High School Musical, which comes to The Bushnell October 9-14. This is a brand-new stage version of the Disney Channel Original Movie, which went on to be a huge pop-culture phenomenon last year. In fact, High School Musical 2 makes its debut on the Disney Channel on August 17. The stage version is going to be great - there will be a cast of 34 performers, a live orchestra, and two new songs! Have you seen the movie, and are you excited to come see the stage show? Tickets go on sale August 20!

Just back from Chicago where I saw the touring stage production at the La Salle Bank Theater. What a fun, high-energy show! For many of the young audience members (and some parents too!) seeing East High School come to life on stage was fascinating. The hot merchandise items were Wildcat jerseys with #14 on the back and a sequined pink "I Love Troy" t-shirt. The "it" item was a pink boa pen topped with a silver microphone. Tickets are on sale now for our engagement at The Bushnell. Hope to see you at the theater October 9 - 14!

The Greater Hartford Marathon is Saturday.....
How are people going to get to the 2pm show?
Roads are closed and parking is limited....

Hello and thank you for that important question! We have been in contact with and are working closely with the Hartford Police Department's Traffic Division related to the marathon and our 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of High School Musical. They have advised us that the roads surrounding The Bushnell will be accessible in time for the matinee performance. We are advising our patrons to leave extra time for arrival and parking in anticipation that there might be some congestion related to the marathon.

I went to go and see High Schoool Musical last night,(October 12,2007- At the Bushnell), and I thougt it was AWESOME!!! I thought I was going to be just like the movie, but the new actors and actreses, and new songs made it interesting and exciting!! I would recomend going to see the show if your a fan or not!

Spectacular show! My family thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot stop talking about it. The dancing and singing was fantastic! Highly recommend this one!
