Last night’s performance represented the Connecticut premiere of this production’s first national tour. The show features compositions by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman. The engagement runs through this Sunday, September 30. Were you at opening night? What did you think?

Six of us (ladies night out!) attended the opening night of "Whistle Down the Wind" last night and loved every minute of it. The music was wonderful, particularly the singing of the male lead, Eric Kunze. The range of his voice was amazing! I would have bought the sound track on the spot if it had been available. Our group unanimously gave the show a thumbs up!

I brought my girlfriend to this show last night and we both really enjoyed it. As Sharon said, the male lead's vocal range was amazing! The Female lead was great as well as all the children. Overall great show.

What an incredible performance of an awesome musical! It's too bad that there were so many unsold seats. There needed to be more publicity for this lesser known Andrew LLoyd Weber creation.

Saw the opening night show and thought it was great. The Man was fantastic, and Swallow had a pleasing voice. Admit to liking the rock and roll tunes and the ballads, as was especially impressed with the children and the ensmeble numbers. Just had a great time, and likewise think there should have been more publicity, but didn't see any open seats in the orchestra section where I was. My girlfriend, who is a Lloyd Webber nut, thought this one should head to Broadway, but was glad it stopped here in Hartford first.

We saw the Friday night performance of "Whistle Down the Wind. What a great show! Nice variety of music and plenty for us to discuss with friends after the show! The leads were strong and the children's pieces were wonderful. We echo the other review and hope that it gets time in New York!

I was unable to attend opening night, but I brought my sister, her daughter and a friend to the Sunday performance. What an awesome performance. While the entire cast did an awesome job, I was held spellbound by the voice of Eric Kunze. His effortless vocal range sent chills up and down my spine. This was my sister's first experience at the Bushnell and she was in no way disappointed. Should this play travel this way again, we will definitely consider seeing it. Thank you for a job well done!

Hello,
The show headed to Minnesota Oct. 9-21 . We seen it at The Ordway. Big Crowds and standing ovations all shows.
I agree with all of you. It was Awesome. Andrea Ross and Dann Fink and especially "the man" Eric Kunze. I was also spellbound by his voice and vocal range and couldn't help notice his other fine attributes. He had real presence.
I bought tickets for 2 more performances. and had the Great Honor to meet the whole cast and I'll cherish these pictures of this awesome cast.
I hope they make a CD. I'd be the first in line for a Copy.

I was able to see the show eight times because I work at Ordway Center. It is unfortunate that we have a critic in St. Paul that blasted the show because it was excellent. The leads were superb, you couldn't find a better "Man" than Eric Kunze and the message was wonderful. All of the childrten, including the local children were awe inspiring. We had standing ovations at every performance.

I am here in Sacramento, and saw the show for the second time last night - it was an even greater treat the second time around! You could tell that the entire audience was held spellbound by the story and of course the amazing voices of Andrea (Swallow) and Eric (The Man); by the end of the second act, there was hardly a dry eye in the audience, and we jumped to our feet in applause. You cannot come away from seeing this show without being touched by the message(s) that run deep through the production. They head on to Seattle tomorrow for a three-week run, and I cannot recommend it more highly.
