Their version of his music was a disappointment but I enjoyed hearing his songs. The best tribute to John Denver would be to be a Folk Singer which he was and sing the songs the way he did.

We saw Almost Heaven on Sunday the 17th. While is was nice to hear John Denvers music live and the muscians were quite good, there ws so much more that could have been done with the show. Several songs were performed to a blank stage where a mere photo image would have improved the performance. Even ten years after his passing I remember the tales he told to most tunes. While I am spoiled having seen John Denver any time he was within driving distance, I felt that too much was missing from this show.
