First off - we are so excited that so many of you are posting comments to our blog entries. We are thrilled that our Bushnell Blog is one of the most active blogs of theaters of our type across the country! Thank you for helping us make it so successful - and please keep all of your comments coming!
We have made a small change. You may notice when you comment again that your posting won't immediately pop up until it has been approved by our moderator. We have been hit pretty hard with spam-style comments, and to make sure none of those comments actually make it to the blog, we are now making this small change.
Just know that no matter what you - the true performing arts fan - have to say, it will definitely make it to our blog!

The performance of African Footprint was
absolutely stupendous!!!!!!! Many of us stood around and talked after the performance and bemoaned the fact that ticket sales were slow for the Sat. performance.
We felt the show wasn't advertised enough.I know I would have gone again on Sat. afternoon and word of mouth would have gotten more people in the seats.
One of my co-workers saw it in South Africa and told us we were in for a special treat.We all felt African Footprint was a moving and entertaining show. An A+ experience of the highest caliber!!!!!!!!!!!

Just attended African Footprint and absolutely loved it. Hope to see more programs with the music and dancing that was done be a fabulous group of performers.

African Footprints was a great expereince! Performance spectacular with some unexpected twist. Will visit Bushnell more often. Need to advertise in Western Mass.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved seeing African Footprint last night! The performance was amazing...and the music was my favorite part! It was such a cultural experience and I hope for more shows like this ...perhaps The Lion King??! Thanks for having the show.

African Footprint the best performance that I've attended at the Bushnell! The performers were top notch and did a great job throughout the whole show. I've never seen an audience that appreciative of a performance any time, any where. Please bring this show back to Hartford, and soon! African Footprint is a cultural experience that should not be missed!

I am out raged at your Companies false advertisements. I went to your new show African Footprints which thought was excellent beyond belief I invited my whole family to it and I think contributed at least 300 dollars to the Bushnell. Before this performance we were given a pamphlet titled "The Producers" which we could look through before the show. To my amusement there was a section in the pamphlet about African Footprints that helped answer a couple questions and said, "January 25-26, 2008". I thought this was very convenient because after I saw the show that Friday night other people I knew would like to see this fabulous play. So when I invited my neighbor and many family friends to go to this performance I was appalled when they told me they went down to the box office and there was no one there. I am outraged at you false advertisements and I and shocked and surprised how bad you made many people look. I demand an apology. We have gone and put thousands of dollars into the Bushnell all our lives so when my family and I experience such a betrayal and embarrassment we wanted to bring it to your attention and wanted some reassurance that this wouldn't happen again.

Dear Bushnell,
The performance of African Footprints was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I truly hope that you will bring them back again. I don't feel that it received as much publicity as it deserved. There were so many people who truly missed a blessing in this performance. Please try to get them back again.
