The Drowsy Chaperone is called "the funniest musical you've never seen" - are you one of the lucky ones who is seeing it this week at The Bushnell? What did you think of the show?

Bryan Austermann:

The show was great!!!!
I saw it last night and was thrilled! And after the show we went to the stage door to get autographs from the actors, and they were all very nice and happy to see us, although I'm afraid I scared some of them by telling them that I would be there every night! It's true, I am going every night! I was also very pleased with the crowd! There were actually a good amount of people there! The Balcony wasn't very full, but Orchestra looked really full, and Mezzanine had a good amount of people seated too! All in all the show was a great experience! I cannot wait for tonight and Thursday and so forth!!!

Saw Chaperone last night & I'm still laughing. Monkey, in deed! Loved the set, the cast & the lyrics (even tho "you shouldn't listen to the lyrics"). giggles gallore. Thnx just what we needed on a cold mid-week winter eve.

Bryan Austermann:

I saw Drowsy Wednesday and Thursday night as well as the previously mentioned Tuesday night. But on Thursday, there were some new understudies - George and Aldolpho. Both of them were great and the show was not lessened in any way (I think the originals are definitely the best, but the understudies didnt take anything away from the show) I was truly amazed by the understudy of George because he doesnt do that tap dancing every night, and then to be suddenly thrown into the show and have to do that big tap dance number is amazing, and he did it amazingly!! I just wanted to say that, I'll probably be back on here after tonight's and tomorrow's and Sunday's performances!!!

Kelly:

I saw the show on the 24th and the cast did an awesome job! I had the pleasure of seeing most of the OBC on Broadway this summer, and the touring cast was SO up to par! I was so happy that Georgia Engel reprised her role as I had missed her in NYC, and I was THRILLED to see Jonathan Crombie again. To me, he is THE man in chair (um, how much do you love him during the Bride's Lament?.."No no no!").

Overall, great show, hysterical as always!

Barbara Ceplenski:

I just want to request that if the revival of South Pacific goes on tour, I would love to see it at the Bushnell.
