We are often asked, "What can I expect to see when I come see The Music Man?" The show, which has been described as a "concert-version" of the Meredith Willson classic, is, in fact, much more than that. When you join us April 22-27 for this production, you can expect a stylized full-production featuring the full text and songs from the musical, a 33-person cast that boasts loads of Broadway credits, stars like Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy, a 25-person orchestra led by Hartford Symphony Orchestra maestro Edward Cumming, dancers, light costume and scenic support - and a big surprise finale! The only thing you should not expect when you come to see The Music Man - A 50th Anniversary Tribute is to be bored - it is going to be a fantastic, exciting night of musical theater!

I just returned from seeing The Music Man. From the moment I walked on the property, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. It was thrilling to see families eager to see the show together. The appeal of this show spanned generations for sure, and I'm sure none of them were disappointed. Once in the theater, the energy from the cast and audience was palpable. I left with a huge smile on my face and singing the tunes all the way home.
Thanks for a great show and a wonderful evening.

What a wonderful production from beginning to end! The finale with Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy was very poignant. Can't wait for 2008-2009 Series.
