EDUCATION AT THE BUSHNELL

"There is not a nobler office for a state than the education of its' youth nor one
more congenial to a just ambition."

- Plato

For over 20 years, The Bushnell has affected the lives of over 400,000 young people with award-winning programs that extend beyond the stage, into the classroom and throughout the community. Programs such as the nationally recognized PARTNERS® program use the arts to teach core curriculum with a focus on literacy, as well as develop each young person’s artistic and literary talents. These fundamental goals extend throughout all of The Bushnell's programming and are particularly evident in Bushnell’s Children’s Theatre, The Bushnell Performing Arts Scholars, Artivity, The Noah Webster JAZZicians instrumentalist program, and the full-scholarship Ensign-Darling vocal program.
