Louis CK Cracks Up The Bushnell

Hartford, CT – March 20, 2008 – Come to The Bushnell for a laughter-filled evening with comedian Louis C.K. in Belding Theater on March 28, 2008 at 8:30 p.m. Louis will be stopping in Hartford for one night only on his national tour as he ramps up for his HBO special “Louis C.K.: Chewed Up” that will air later this year. Opening the show will be comedian Todd Barry. This show is for mature audiences only due to adult subject matter and language.

“Louis C.K.: Chewed Up” is Louis’ second hour special with HBO. His first hour special, “Louis C.K.: Shameless,” premiered on January 13, 2007 to critical acclaim and was released on DVD in June. Louis created and starred in HBO’s first traditional sitcom, “Lucky Louie,” about the struggles of first time parenthood. The complete first season of “Lucky Louie” is available on DVD.
Louis starred in two HBO “One Night Stand” half-hour stand-up specials, a “Comedy Central Presents” special, HBO's “25th Anniversary Young Comedians” special and is a regular on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.”
Louis was one of the original staff writers for “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” spending two years with the show. He went on to write for “The Late Show with David Letterman” and was the Head Writer and producer of “The Dana Carvey Show” on ABC.
