Position Title: CRM Information Specialist
Department: Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Reports To: Director of CRM
FLSA Status: Non Exempt, hourly
Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week; includes occasional nights and weekends
Broad Function:
The Information Specialist will support the Director of CRM in producing timely reports for the Bushnell and partner organizations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of CRM database. He/She will work alongside Director of CRM in collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Bushnell and partner organizations in supporting onboarding to new systems, developing data governance, and maintaining data standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the reporting process from analyzing the request through design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and ad hoc queries, including cross departmental data analysis projects
- Work alongside Director of CRM in cooperation with different departments on developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance, and upholding data standards
- Work closely with Director of CRM to understand the Bushnell and partner organization’s analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs and to deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
- Support onboarding process for the Bushnell and partner organizations to new systems
- Serve as secondary person in the department for managing existing/future sources. I.e. Paciolan, Salesforce, Placer, etc.
- Assist the Director of CRM in trouble shooting malfunctioning reports and systems for The Bushnell and the partner organizations
- Provide training to staff on optimal use of reports, dashboards, and data entry
- Process invoices and maintain CRM department budget
- Research on current data analytics trends and make recommendation to the organization and partner organizations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bechelor’s degree. Two years of related experience in analysis of medium to large-scale CRM systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to support comparative analysis, visualizing data, process metrics, Workday, reaccreditation and/or research productivity
- Experienced and proficient use one or more of the following : Excel Pivot Tables, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics
- Understanding of information security compliance
- Excellent oral/written communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, hard-working team player with proven outstanding organizational skills and very detail oriented and ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once, often with urgent deadlines.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Provides ongoing input to the establishment of programming standards, procedures, and methodologies
- Analytics development experience in performing arts is a plus
- May perform other duties as assigned

Position Title: Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours weekly, may Include evening and/or weekend hours
Location: Primary location: Warner Theatre, Torrington, CT; Secondary location: The Bushnell, Hartford, CT.
Broad Function:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting, including banking & payroll, cash disbursements, cash receipts, General Ledger account reconciliation, monthly close, financial reporting & analysis, forecasting & budgeting, and year-end audit/990 preparation primarily at the Warner Theatre in Torrington, with some duties to be performed at The Bushnell in Hartford.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions including:

Accounts Payable review and processing

Vendor payments review and processing

Daily sales/Ticket revenue entries

Contributed income entries

Bank deposit preparation

Responsible for month-end accounting close processes including:

Bank account reconciliations
-
General ledger account reconciliations
-
Month end reporting, including departmental expense review
-
General Ledger reconciliations including, but not limited to, the reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts payable & other accrued liabilities, prepaid expenses & deferred revenue.

Properly accounting for contribution income, including any restrictions, in accordance with US GAAP.

Process bi-weekly payroll, including but not limited to input and approval of time and compensation information, issuing approval of payroll data to processor, and recording all appropriate journal entries.

Proper remittance of payroll deductions, including but not limited to employee retirement plan contributions, and associated accounting entries.
-
Evaluate processes and provide recommendations to streamline work flow and monthly closing procedures.

Responsible for maintaining Policies and Procedures with respect to applicable accounting procedures.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing process to include, but not limited to preparing monthly journal entries and account analysis. Provide necessary lead schedules and supporting work papers related to the general ledger as it relates to periodic financial reviews and year-end audit.

Assist with the annual budget process, including interacting with department heads to compile earned revenue, contributed revenue, and expense budgeting.

Assist with the annual audit, including:

year end reconciliation of general ledger accounting for audit review

work with outside audit firm to ensure efficient audit processes

assist with the preparation of year end audited financial statements

Provide Management with current & relevant financial information via monthly financial statement forecasts, variance to budget analysis and cash flow forecasting.

Analyze and confirm results of show settlements.

Assist with preparation of Committee meeting materials and attend meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university or college. Five (5) or more years of practical accounting/finance experience, with experience in the non-profit sector strongly preferred.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Must be articulate, organized, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work successfully within a team environment.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
