In an evening about creativity and connection, Samin will remind us how cooking can not only nourish our bodies but also satiate our desire for kinship and community. ABOUT TAMAR ADLER
Tamar Adler — Samin and Tamar met in the early 2000s at Chez Panisse, where both of them worked in the kitchen but longed to find a way to the page. Samin was an early, ardent fan of Tamar’s first book, An Everlasting Meal, and over the last two decades the two have become close friends, literary confidantes, and fierce supporters of one another’s work. Outside of the kitchen, they share a love of writing, reading, gardening, and travel.
