About Sensory-Friendly/Relaxed Programming at The Bushnell

Sensory-Friendly/Relaxed performances and events are designed for individuals of all ages who are autistic, have sensory processing differences, or other access needs, and for anyone who benefits from a relaxed, judgement-free performing arts environment. These events welcome individuals to attend independently or with family members, friends, or support people.
Slight adjustments to the production are made and accommodations for these performances and events will include:

Lower sound level, especially for startling or loud sounds;

Lights remain on at a low level in the theater during the performance;

A reduction of strobe lighting or lighting focused on the audience;

- Patrons are allowed to bring in outside food and drinks into the theater;
